Our Shambhala Art outing at LACMA over the weekend was a great reminder about the benefits of slowing down and taking a contemplative pace while viewing art. Seeing becomes a much richer experience. Each of the pieces became alive and fresh to me. We were encouraged to look at the piece from a number of viewpoints, ranging from close to far, while bringing in our senses to seeing.
