Local Exhibits

Mission rose
Lovely roses... seen on a recent day trip

Happily the heat has given way to cooler temperatures, and fall has finally arrived!  Here are a few Southern California fiber art exhibits to catch this fall.   The annual Extreme Quilters Art from Cloth exhibit runs until October 14th at the Thousand Oaks Community Gallery.  I have heard from friends that there are wonderful works to see this year.  I have always enjoyed the past shows.  The gallery is open daily, 10 am - 5 pm at 2331 Borchard Road, Newbury Park  91320.

Opening October 17th at Visions Art Museum will be the group exhibit Interpretations- Celebrating 30 Years.  Also showing will be two solo exhibits: Linda Colsh's Hearing the Quiet: Walking the Creeks   and Viviana Lombrozo's Excavating for Meaning.  All three exhibits will run until January 3, 2016.  The museum is located at 2825 Dewey Road, Suite 100, San Diego 92106.

Enjoy!
