A Crack in Everything

“Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in.”
- Leonard Cohen

"Shining Grace" is completed, with a sneak peek for now until I can share more at a later date...

This piece turned out to be a good inner critic buster.  Under a time limit for a show entry,  I worked more quickly than normal.   I was in a flow, open to listening to what was needed next, but brushing off those inner critic comments.  Doing the work can override much negativity and the striving for perfection.  David Limrite expresses it well in this post.

From gifts made and given last year, here is an update on the growing babies with quilts and balls.

Genevieve and her ball...

Jackson doing push ups on his quilt...

And the Celtic cross stitch is done!  My eyes survived!  The plan is to create a pillow with it.
