Opening to the Glimmers

"To have a sacred place is an absolute necessity for anybody today. You must have a room or a certain hour of the day or so, where you do not know who your friends are, you don't know what you owe anybody or what they owe you. This is a place where you can simply experience and bring forth what you are and what you might be."
- Joseph Campbell

Typical of this time of year, I am cleaning out, puttering and even pruning in the unseasonably dry and warm garden (winter, what winter?).  With these actions the glimmers of what is to come creatively begin to make themselves known.  Emptying out allows me to open to something what is here.

My intention word for the year is Connection.  We will see how Connection evolves in my life through the year.

Sharing a link to a lovely Etsy treasury that includes my quilt "Heart Broken Open". Enjoy the color and textures...

The quote opening this post came from Sara Genn of Painter's Keys newsletter.  This week's newsletter offers thoughtful insights on  "11 Steps to your World", worth a read.
